🛡UST de-peg coverage update🛡 Dear community, we have finished the voting process for UST de-peg claims and thank you for participating. Below is an update of the current status: 1️⃣Proposal voting has ended and 85k USDC were deducted from the UST collateral pool, as well as 7,727,273 TIDAL from the staking pool. 2️⃣Deposit and withdrawal in USDC reserve pool and TIDAL staking pool has been resumed. 3️⃣We are in the process of verifying claims with policyholders. The process will take approximately 10 days. 4️⃣After processing claims, any unclaimed USDC will be returned to the USDC providers, as well as TIDAL compensation.

🛡UST de-peg coverage update🛡 1️⃣Proposal is currently active for voting. Users will have 72 hours to cast the vote. 2️⃣Details regarding the payout amount, covered addresses are listed in the proposal. App.tidal.finance -> Governance 3️⃣Final payout requires policyholders to prove the ownership of UST at the time of cover purchase, as well as transferring the UST in exchange for USDC. We propose a 20 days period from today for policyholders to do so - deadline by June 7th. Failed claims will be returned to the USDC depositor.

🛡UST de-peg coverage update🛡 1️⃣Dear community: Due to the UST price continuously falling below $0.85 for 5 days, we have submitted and approved the UST de-peg claim. 2️⃣UST reserve pool is frozen, withdrawals and deposits are suspended. 3️⃣Payout amount of USDC and TIDAL will be proposed in 24 hours from now (1 pm EST 5/17/2022), followed by a voting period for 72 hours. 4️⃣Voting process will be similar as last time, users interested in voting can delegate votes to themselves, or to our team (in the governance page at app.tidal.finance). The voting addresses delegated before don’t need to delegate again, new addresses need to delegate before the voting starts in 24 hours. 5️⃣The estimated max payout is 85,000 USDC, failed claims will be returned to USDC providers. Details on covered addresses and evidence required to qualify for the payout will be shared soon in the voting proposal.
